Privacy notice
This notice explains how Help My Tree uses information submitted through this site.
Information you choose to send
Saving a request sends the address or ZIP code, chosen contact channel, contact information and optional name. Optional details include the service, description, interest in a visit and any guide answers you choose to attach. Address entry and guide answers stay in page memory until you intentionally save them. There is no analytics implementation, hidden location collection, map lookup, photo upload or hidden keystroke capture. Do not include sensitive personal information.
Use and routing
We use this information to handle your tree-care request and prevent abuse, not to sell it or target advertising. Tree care is performed by our own local teams in Memphis and St. Louis. The application routes request notifications by email to one designated owner using Resend. Choosing text as your preferred contact channel does not trigger an automated text message. An email accepted by a provider is not proof that it reached an inbox or that anyone has read it.
Storage and retention
Cloudflare hosts this site and stores requests in D1. A scheduled cleanup removes request records older than 90 days at its next run and cascades deletion to their notification queue records. Security rate-limit records expire separately. Live-record deletion is not instant erasure of Cloudflare or email-provider backups, recovery copies, security logs or copies already received by the owner; those follow the relevant provider and mailbox retention processes. We do not log submission bodies in application logs.
Security services
Cloudflare Turnstile checks for abuse before saves. Cloudflare processes network and security information to host and protect the service. Rate limits use a keyed hash of the network address rather than storing a raw IP address in request tables. Request-scoped details tokens have a maximum 30-minute window. The browser holds the secret token in page memory, not in a URL or persistent browser storage; D1 stores a token hash. Infrastructure security logs are separate from request records.
